How do I take care of baby wild rabbits?

Well today as my dad was gardening, he found two baby rabbits. Its night time now. but I have no idea what to do. what do they eat? their eyes are open so they’re not like infants. they’re about 5 inches long. how should i take care of them? what should i feed them? do they have rabies? I’m completely lost…. the rabbits arent like biting or anything the one is just sitting on my lap. and what does it mean when it licks you?

this is going to sound weird, but without eating the mother’s feces, it is likely that no matter what you do, the baby rabbits will not survive. eating the feces of the mother is a way the baby rabbits can expose themselves to different viruses and strengthen their immune system or something….i just learned that in my biology class.
so if you are going to try to take care of them, then you are going to have to find a way to simulate that…..i would suggest taking them to an animal shelter or something if there is one nearby because they will probably know what to do.

Well I bet you should feed them carrots and I bet they also dont have rabies and you need to give it love and conpation make sure they have a warm place to sleep

take them to a vet and if you want to keep them, I’m sure your vet would advise you what to do. Good luck.
