Open Question: Am I just bad with children, or are the children just bad?
I am working with an 11 year old with several mental health diagnoses. She also comes from a broken and impoverished home, with a nagging and controlling mother. I am supposed to be a crisis mentor, spending 1:1 time with her and responding to crisis.
