Open Question: he told me today I could name our baby whatever i wanted?
ok so,i’m almost 15 wks..we don’t know what we’re having yet,but we’ve been trying to come up with names..before now my husband has been shooting down every name that i have mentioned,and only likes names that i hate as well..yesterday i was telling him about another girl on here who posted a question about how her husband wouldn’t take the name thing seriously,and i told him that the way i see it,,it’s obviously not as big a deal to a man as it is a woman..with a guy,they do care what the name is because they don’t want nothing that is going to sound weird,,but to a woman its another one of those things that we dream of doing even when we’re children just like we dream of the perfect wedding…well,,this morning as he was heading out to work,he stopped sat down beside me and said oh,by the way,,i want you to pick any name that you want for the baby and i will love it..when i asked why the sudden change,was there a catch he said, no,,,i just thought about what you said about it being just as important as the perfect wedding to you,and since we didn’t have a big wedding and that was taken from you,i don’t want to take this and make it less for you then what you deserve…..that was i believe the sweetest thing he has ever said to me,,ever….but now,i feel bad,,,i don’t want to do it alone, and i don’t want him to settle for just whatever i want,,,i want us to choose our childs name together…how do i get him understand and seriously work with me to find a name?
