Open Question: My friend wants a baby…and she’s still in high school.?
Don’t get me wrong, babies are cute and cuddly and I’ve found myself a time or two thinking that it’d be fun to have a baby of my own, but I know that I don’t need one right now, nor will I be able to care for one! I know a few girls my age that say that they’d like a baby, too, but they feel like I do in that we should wait! However, my best friend is seriously intent on having a baby! She is seriously thinking about having one with her ex-boyfriend (who is currently with another girl!) and I have no clue what to say to her to make her stop wanting to have a kid with him! She says that he’s the one who brought up having a baby with her in the first place, and I told her that honestly it seemed like he just wanted to get in her pants! I mean, the guy cheated on her, and now he’s trying to cheat on his current girlfriend with her! I really don’t like this guy, at all and she became well aware of that when we found him getting oral sex from a thirteen year old! (And he’s 17!) I’ve ready told her that she shouldn’t do it, and this could potentially ruin her life, but I hurt her feelings! Ugh, what should I do??! She doesn’t need a baby, especially not one with he ex-boyfriend! Every time I bring up the things that her ex did, she always says that it was in the past and that he’s promised to do better…
