Open Question: Why is my fiance such a slob?

My fiance of 2 years is the biggest slob ever. He ALWAYS has food on his face after EVERY meal and I constantly have to tell him to wipe it. He also ALWAYS has snot or boogers hanging out of his nose and eyes.
