How to care for baby wild rabbits?

Just Me asked:

I found a hole in my back yard yesterday with about 6 baby bunnies in it. I watched for the mother, but she has yet to return….should I go ahead and scoop them out and try to care for them? If so, what do I need? Thanks!

I would wait a little longer.Because…I had some baby birds outside my house. And I walked outside to check on them and the **Mama Bird** flu off!!And I could not see the mother bird for a long time but she was there! So…give her some more time! For her sake!Plz reply!

You should never keep wild rabbits. the odds are against you bring them to a pro. buy things like a bottle at a pet store ask someone and formula a cage a heat lamp. Take 1 out and gently pinch the skin on it’s neck and lift up on the neck if the skin doesn’t reform they’re dehydrated. But wait 2 days and put string or yarn over the hole forming an X If it’s unchanged in 2 days bring them to a pro.

I wouldn’t. If they are still alive in a week, then leave them. If one has died in the next 2 days or so, you could bring them to your local veternary clinic, but they can only help if they have the small animal formula or a nursing mother.
